I don't know if you recall reading about a strange topic of conversation among Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping when the former visited the latter back in July 2025? Seemingly apropos of nothing, the topic of longevity comes up. A complete non sequitur of living to the beyond ripe old age of 170, if Vlad or Xi—themselves, if I recall—can just hold on, and make just it a few <shatnerian-pause> more <christopher-walken-uh-pause> years…

I think there was a diagnosis, a terminal one. For Dear Leader. And our competitor's intelligence had the goods before any of US, of course. Was there an intended message for the stricken? Does Donnie's mystery MRIs, mental derangement, blemished hand, all point to something most horribly wonderful and medically disastrous? Too bad, so sad, Don. He won't make it to the "Golden Age" of his dreams…

Well, ok. I think it simpler than that but you knew that. He knows he's trash: grandparents draft-dodging pimp and prostitute, drug dealers; his mother a racist drug-running slum-lord's chambermaid, to be polite, and he's just a fat kid from Queens with little education, limited intellect and no social skill ... and he knows it. Never escape it, for all he has done

Has an inferiority complex because he's inferior, and he knows it ...

I'll readily buy Trump is decompensating. But our narcissist is a global celebrity who owns one of the 2 political parties that runs the US . There are extensive propaganda and economic networks dedicated to "making him happy", and minions realizing their dreams and giving him all the credit. He will be propped up longer than humanly possible and any collapse will be covered up as long as possible. Vance appears to have followed my advice and is building alliances. The Widow Kirk and SOS (in theory) Marco Rubio have recently declaired there support of Vance for Pres8dent for no apparant reason. So far so good JD.

I think everybody needs to make a clearer separation between politics and government as different spheres of activity in which different people play important roles. As I keep saying, Trump’s job with the movement isn’t to do anything but win elections—politics is the only thing he’s ever shown an ability to do. Miller-Vought and co., helpless at politics, intend to take care of the government, whatever the politicians (including Widow Kirk) may say.

But Trump himself doesn’t understand this and thinks he’s required to do things all the time, to demonstrate he’s a Strong Ruler, and the stupid building projects are the only things he can think of, and Miller-Vought and co. must “make him happy” by helping him carry that shit out. Then, what you’re interpreting is what’s going on with the party, and might become clear in 11/26 and 11/28, but is anything but clear at the moment.

Trump's concept of government is that hes the CEO of America Inc. and his job is to make Deals based on his own interests, in every sense of that word. His political skills have somehow brought him ownership of the Republican party so it and/or he have reoriented the party around his concept, which will probably destroy the party, because his Deals bring only profit to himself and maybe the Russians whose money he launders. He is otherwise historically incompetent while failing upwards.

Of course I have no idea what's going on in the Party. I judge it irrational and self-destructive and have no idea how to get in that headspace. Its just that Vance reminds me so much of Richard Nixon, another generally unpopular politician who wound up VP almost by accident. I keep thinking what would Nixon do in his position, then catch myself and ask what would a stupid Nixon do, then look for signs Vance is aware of his position. I don't think anyone knows what's going to happen in the Party in 26 and 28, when the chaos chickens come home to roost. History shows they double down on their agitprop in the face of failure and that has always worked, at a cost.

I have an idea the deal making is mostly foreign policy, where he gets to act more the way he did as a businessman, flying around and taking meetings with his peers and coming to some kind of vague handshake moment while the servants work out the technical details. Whereas with Congress and state governments he must negotiate with non-peers who irritate him with the technical details themselves, and he thinks he should really just be giving them orders.

Absolutely. The CEO sets the Vision statement and his E-staff deal with strategy and implementation. He probably considers Congress no different than tradesmen who work at his resorts.
