I have a theory (and it is a theory, and is mine) that one way the Times justifies its crusade against Biden is, that Biden is being told to step down *by his own people.* Thus, to report that is to be "non-partisan." Whereas Trump is applauded or tolerated by the entire GOP. When people ask, "Why isn't the Times reporting on Trump being a fascist with dementia?" their answer would be, "Because to do so would be partisan. If Trump's fellow Republicans started calling for him to withdraw, we could and would report that."

Of course, that needn't stop the Times from interviewing psychologists and psychiatrists and historians on just how much Trump is a fascist with dementia. But Biden hurts Pinch's feelings!

*Ok the Romney speech was actually March 3, 2016 but Ted Cruz refused to endorse Trump on July 20, 2016 and that made exactly no difference in anything
